Courses & events
We are now assembling a whole series of courses and other events, most of which will appear in the first quarter of 2023. But we first need to have a clearer picture of what YOU would like. From basic carpentry through wood turning and carving to specialist crafts like the scroll saw, pyrography, French polishing and stained glass - they are all in our thinking. We are testing some of them with taster sessions and we are also running an Open Evening. Please come along to one of them, contact us as below or message us via our Facebook page.

Open Evening
Wednesday 9 November 2022, 6.30pm - 9pm
An opportunity to come along to the Shed, meet the various tutors we are lining up for full courses and understand what you could learn from them. You can also talk to us about what else you would like us to introduce. The skills on display that evening will include: basic carpentry, wood turning, wood carving, pyrography, scroll saw and French polishing.
Crafts @ The Shed
Every Monday 10am - 12.30pm
At the moment our friendly group under the expert leadership of Cheryl Gardner is trying a variety of crafts including jewellery, soft toys, cross stitch and crepe paper flowers. They meet in perfect peace on what is otherwise a quiet day at the Shed. The cost is £2 per session. Just turn up if you would like to join.
